Queen
Molly Cannon

Hi everyone! My name is Molly Cannon and I am the Cattlemen's Days Queen for 2010. I'm eighteen years old and I'm finishing my senior year at Gunnison High School. I have lived on a ranch for most of my life with my parents and two sisters. I have been in 4-H for ten years; the first six were spent showing market pigs and for the past four years, I have been raising market steers and breeding pairs. I have been in FFA for four years and am currently serving as the Gunnison Chapter, Co-Vice President. My plans for next year include attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins and majoring in Animal Science. I also plan on obtaining a minor in Farm and Ranch Management. I plan on playing ice hockey for CSU's club team, as hockey is my favorite sport. A future goal of mine after graduating from CSU is to return to the ranch and work along side my Dad and eventually take over the entire operation.

Queens Attendant
 Jessica Howard

My name is Jessica Howard and I am the 2010 Cattlemen's Days Queen's Attendant. I am 15 years old going into my sophomore year at Gunnison High School. This year I participated in volleyball, hockey, and track during the school year. I spend a lot of my free time reading, drawing and painting, as well as riding my horses and spending time with my friends and family. During the summer Sandy (my horse) and I help my dad move cows out on the range. Moving cows in the Powderhorn Valley is my favorite part of the summer because I love being outside, enjoying the beautiful scenery around me. My Great Great Grandfather, William Clark Howard moved into the Gunnison Country in the 1880's. He moved cows on the same range as my Great Grandfather, Dave Howard, my Grandfather, Ed Howard, and my dad, Bob Howard and I. It is very important to me knowing not many people get the opportunity to experience the western heritage as I do. I like to race barrels behind my house and in the arena with my sister. I also help take care of our animals, like our market swine we raise during the summer. I've been in 4-H since I was eight years old and have participated throughout the years in the horse, dog, swine and visual art projects. I am very honored and excited to represent Cattlemen's Days.

Jr. Miss
Madaline Redden

I'm Madaline Redden. I'm 11 and I love skiing. I'm on the Crested Butte ski team and I love racing. I'm obsessed with horses and can say horse in three languages. I like softball, gymnastics and school. My favorite subject in school is math. I like hanging out with my friends and having sleepovers. I'm in 4-H, I show pigs and horses and do photography. I love getting to show my animals. I love all the excitement of Cattlemen's Days, especially the rodeo. I'm the daughter of Karen and Brett Redden. It is an honor to be chosen for 2010 Junior Miss and to be the 5th generation of Redden's to participate in Cattlemen's Days. I'd like to thank my parents for helping me so much and the judges for their belief in me.
